I’ve been using the free services provided by Shrink the Web to generate thumbnails for my Quilting Bloggers Directory.
I have to say I’m VERY impressed with the service, and the technical support has been super helpful when needed. I haven’t tried the API version of the code, as all I needed was the simple solution, and it worked without any problem. Their Pro options are reasonably priced and add even more flexibility if needed. No JavaScript needed, nothing to install on your server, not even the thumbnails, unless you opt to cache them locally.
Definitely a service I’d recommend to my clients, if the need arises. Generate your own thumbnails, today!
No, I wasn’t paid or coerced for the above, I’m just very happy with the service.
